1) Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use our Services.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the “Effective date” above.
2) Description of Services
Looktara provides AI-powered photo generation services that create professional headshots and portraits. Our Services include:
- Personal AI model training using your uploaded photos
- AI-generated professional headshots and portraits
- Photo packs and customization options
- Browser extension for enhanced functionality
- WhatsApp-based features and support

3) User Accounts and Registration
To use our Services, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and update your account information
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
4) Acceptable Use (expanded for uploads + responsible use)
You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
4.1 Your upload responsibility (rights + consent)
When you upload any photo, image, or other content (“User Content”), you represent and warrant that:
- You own the User Content or have all necessary rights/permissions to use it with our Services; and
- You have explicit consent from every identifiable person in the User Content for you to upload it and for us to process it to provide the Services; and
- The User Content does not violate anyone’s privacy, publicity/personality rights, copyright, trademark, or other rights; and
- You will not upload images of minors (anyone under 18).
4.2 Prohibited content & behavior
You may not:
- Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
- Upload content that violates rights/consent (including images of someone without permission)
- Create or attempt to create a false identity, impersonate others, or mislead others about who is in an image
- Use the Services to generate or distribute content that is deceptive, defamatory, harassing, threatening, or intended to harm someone
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, bypass safeguards, or interfere with/abuse the Services
- Use the Services in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
4.3 Solo-portrait safety
Looktara is designed for solo portraits. You may not attempt to create multi-person composites or public-figure impersonation content, or otherwise try to defeat product restrictions. (If you do, we may suspend or terminate your account.)
5) Content and Intellectual Property (clarified)
You retain ownership of the photos you upload. By using our Services, you grant us a license to host, process, reproduce, and transform your User Content only as needed to provide and improve the Services, prevent abuse, and comply with law.

We own all rights to our AI models, software, and generated content.

You may not copy, modify, or distribute our Services without permission.
Important: You are responsible for how you use and share generated outputs. Looktara does not guarantee outputs will be error-free, perfectly accurate, or suitable for any specific real-world purpose.
6) Payment and Billing
Our Services are provided on a paid basis. You agree to pay all fees associated with your use of our Services. All sales are final as described in our Refund Policy.

- Warranties that our Services will be uninterrupted or error-free

9) Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings.
Upon termination, your right to use our Services ceases immediately, and we may delete your account and data.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New Delhi, India.
